Brian Crawford
We suddenly lost a good friend this week. He was a man of integrity, a man who loved God, loved his family, and loved his work. He was one of the most creative and intelligent engineers I’ve ever met. We were business competitors once, yet I shared my time with him, my venders, my business secrets, and even my customers, because he could be trusted, because he was my friend. I admired his attention to details, his tenacity, his compassion. He spoke often of his family and how proud he was of them. He was young but he lived more than most. He loved life but has met death.
Brian, I’ll miss you and your family mourns. The hole you leave in the heart of your wife and family will not heal, the pain cannot be cured. We will struggle with the never ending questions of “why”, but we know we won’t have answers. We try to rejoice knowing you’re with your Heavenly Father, and we take comfort in knowing that your salvation was sure. But, at the same time, we would wish you back if we could.
We will see you on that distant shore soon enough, until then we weep.
Good Bye my friend…
